NEWIL

General Meeting Minutes: May 19, 2005

The general membership met following a presentation on the Wisconsin Heritage Online Project.

Present

were Leanne Hanson, Ann Kasuboski, Mary Schmidt, Kim LaPlante, Lois Mauermann, Mary Schmidt, Becca Berger and Terrie Howe.

Terrie shared information about the Campaign for Wisconsin 's Libraries which lists NEWIL as a sustaining member.

Terrie gave a summary of the NEWIL grants program. NEWIL has given $6,756 of support for continuing education activities of members since 2002.

Lois Mauermann reported that she needs to move $10,000 from the Merrill Lynch money market to the general money market account.

It was determined that the NEWIL Board will discuss budget and strategic direction at the next meeting.
